Selena Gomez is the star of Wizards of Waverly Place, a Disney Channel television series about a family of wizards living in New York City. It is a huge hit, and was recently renewed for a fourth season, and plans are in the works for a movie, to accompany the series. Justin Bieber is a teen pop sensation who is well on his way to world domination. (Not just in the music arena; there are rumors that he has a plan set in motion to take over the world. I wouldn’t worry about it though, he seems very nice. I am sure he will be a kind and benevolent overlord to us all.)

So apparently, these two young superstars have begun a romance over the last months, and are quite an item these days.  From being spotted holding hands in an IHOP in Philadelphia, to recently vacationing together in the Caribbean, they  are making no secret of their teen romance.  Which is, let’s face it, adorable.  Look at those two cute little faces!  Don’t you want to just make them a cup of hot cocoa, and drive them to the mall, so they can wander around holding hands, and maybe get something to eat at the food court?

P.S.  Look out Selena Gomez,  Justin Bieber has some very dedicated fans.  Who have apparently been sending you death threats.  For serious.  Which frightens me, because the youth of America clearly needs to chill out, at least where Justin Bieber is concerned.

A Justin Bieber Movie is coming your way! Justin Bieber has some of the world’s most dedicated fans, and they are all getting ready for the ultimate Justin Bieber viewing experience: a Justin Bieber movie that opens in theaters everywhere! The movie comes out on February 11, and his millions of fans can’t wait. The movie has clips from his 2010 concert tour, so his followers can enjoy his live music experience, even if they weren’t able to go to one of his concerts! Here is a clip that will certainly make a “Belieber” out of you! (Sorry, that’s what they call themselves.)

The recent popularity of Superman Party Supplies was our first clue that Superman was making a comeback!  The upcoming reboot of the Superman movie has been a source of gossip and speculation for months, now.  Names have been tossed around like confetti, as to who was going to play the Man of Steel.  Jon Hamm, of Mad Men fame was a possible contender, and early favorite, but didn’t end up in the role.  Other names (some better known than others) included:  Matthew Bomer, Armie Hammer, Joe Manganiello, and Colin O’Donaghue.  This project has piqued the interest of many people, not just comic book fans.  The recent success of superhero movies like the Batman franchise and  Iron Man, plus a number of upcoming comic book-based movies like The Avengers, Thor, and Green Lantern are bringing about a rebirth of superhero movies that hasn’t been seen in a long time.

The actor that has gotten this coveted role is Henry Cavill, a British actor, seen in Showtime’s series The Tudors, and big-screen movies like Stardust and Tristan & Isolde. A few other interesting things that you might not know about Henry Cavill:

• He was almost cast as Superman in 2006, but lost the role to Brandon Routh
• He screen-tested for the role of Batman, for the movie Batman Begins, but Christian Bale got the job.
• Stephanie Meyer, author of the Twilight Saga, envisioned him as her top pick to play Edward, the vampire half of the star-crossed duo.
• He is fluent in four languages, speaking English, Spanish, French and Italian!
